The New Super Duper Mother of all Walmarts finally opened across the street from where I work. Nice building. I didn't really see any prices I couldn't get at Meijers though. Their toy aisle looked a lot better stocked except in the McFarlane department. Only saw NBA figs.

that pisses me off about walmart.... they will have spawn and the dragons and it's like they get one set and that's it too bad for you, then it's months before they stock them again, walmart IS the devil!

morning guys, think Im comming down with a cold , bah I who never gets sick ,anyway It hasent brooken out to much yet its at an early state and I am confident my body will take care of it.

The thing that pissed me off was I went last night around 9:30pm to get some cold meds for my daughter and some sudafed for me. Well instead of boxes of sudafed they had these cards that you had to turn in to the pharmacy in order to get the stuff (anti cyrstal meth labs). Pharmacy closed at 8pm!

yea that burns me up too.... you go to get anything for a cold or whatever and now it's behind the pharmacy counter... i will usually go to the info window and grab someone, i refuse to stand in line for that and yea what if it's after hours.... that's ridiculous!!!!
and before ya know it all that stuff is going to be prescription only... that will be something!

I like Meijer a lot better than wal-mart. Last time I went to Meijer I took a stroll down the toy aisle..no dragons, but they had god knows how many of the last spawn series (the one with lotus and mandy) on the pegs. there had to have been about 15 lotus angels just hanging around..quite surprising.

wal-mart, on the other hand, barely gets any spawn figures in and when they do, they're gone and they hardly ever restock. plus, their toy section always looks messy because kids totally destroy it and the employees do nothing to tidy it up half the time.

There were plans to have a walmart down here, specially now that the TLC will start in April and goods can arrive without additional taxes. But they keep closing stores everywhere and I don't think they will import McFarlane or Neca...
Just the basic toys they belive will sold for cheaper....
